Free Kirtan Concert!

Kirtan St. Louis is a community of music makers coming together to create a spiritual connection through their combined voices, hearts and unique individualities ...aka...as a Band. The songs become a journey that build from a basic call and response chant that intuitively morph into a new collective song of life. If you like to sing from your heart, (free of the fear of the choir director will yell "you are flat") and create a collective energy, then you want to be here. I am Bradford Smith and I guide the group through Vocals & Harmonium, accompanied by Mike Web on Vocals & Drums, oh, and along with all the chanters, we are Kirtan St. Louis.

Friday September 12, 8-10pm
UB:  Webster
Admission is FREE!
$10 donation for the musicians appreciated!

Acuyoga Workshop
What is Acuyoga?
Just as the name would imply, Acuyoga is basically a combination of acupressure and yoga. Both acupressure and yoga have the same goal—to relax and achieve a better balance of life energy. Since they both have the same goal, but achieve this goal in different ways (acupressure does so by pressure points that directly correlate to life energy pathways within the body, and yoga does so by focusing on breath control while maintaining certain postures), to combine the two can achieve the ultimate balance of life energy.
Acuyoga consists of certain yoga poses that put pressure or other stimulation on acupressure points all over the body. The patient uses their body, instead of just the hands, to manipulate these points which creates a stronger effect.

Saturday Oct. 25th, 9am to 4:30pm
